Welcome to the behavioral profit, the show where

business meets behavior. I'm your host, Debbie

Longo, executive behavioral coach. And each week

we dive into the mindsets, leadership strategies

and cultural behaviors that drive higher performance

and greater profits. This is your space to learn

teams, energy alignment. My guest, Danny Barnett

is a sole lead RN turned intuitive energy. Welcome,

Danny. Welcome to the show. Is there anything

that you would like to add to that intro? No,

that sounds really good. Okay. So I have a few

questions here. The first question is what does

it really mean to be energetically out of alignment?

And how does that show up in leadership or business?

When we put it just in simple terms for anybody,

even without being in leadership, any one of

us at any given point in time may feel out of

alignment when we start having certain emotions

that we can't seem to let go of. So when it then

shows up in leadership, it doesn't just affect

the one person. affects everybody when they're

working with a team. And so sometimes this can

show up as over controlling, like really showing

controlling behaviors, which yes, there be some

control when you're leaving a team, but we know

that it can get a little bit over the top. And

then that can trickle down into the rest of the

framework of the team. And then people stop feeling

comfortable around you. It can lead to so many

different things, right? That's one way of there

being misalignment that can really cause a business

to. Whereas if you're feeling the harmony and

the clarity and being able to surrender to some

degree where you understand that you are delegating

tasks, things work a lot smoother. I think that

you probably find that happening when you have

that kind of harmony and balance in that. And

that's what I saw many times with leaders that

they want everything to be so perfect and they

tend to be so into it to be controlling every

piece. And sometimes it's about getting that

balance to allow them to surrender. a little

bit and trust the rest of the team. Why I do

this kind of show with the type of person in

your industry and what you teach is to help leaders

and executives and business owners learn this

type of coaching that I do in a different way,

a different aspect. I've done about 25 podcasts

and I have two shows. I have behavioral profit

and six figure shift show, and I'm going to be

starting another one, which is coaching for everybody,

started originally as a life coach. Now I'm doing

executive business owners, all these different

things. What you're saying and what you're about

to say with these questions are just giving a

different perspective, a different outlook, a

different way of leaders and executives and business

owners to consider and to understand when they

think about if they want to be coached by you

or by me. And what type of goals do they want

and what type of business, how do they actually

want to run their business? And essentially what

a lot of coaches say is essentially going to

increase sales and profits, which is really the

goal here. So the reason why I had on the show

too, is not only to get a different perspective

is for leaders and business owners to have maybe

a personality change or a change in their behavior.

They're now going to. say, I really want to try

this because to me that's the ultimate thing

that I'm trying to do here is I'm trying to get

business owners and executives to really open

their minds and really say, I might want to try

what they're explaining. That's another reason

why I'm doing these podcasts because a lot of

this that I do is explaining, talking, giving

examples. Okay. I don't run Facebook ads and

YouTube ads and from reading five lines. They're

going to say, Oh, this is going to work for me.

That's not the type of business that I do. So

these are some of the things, and these are some

of the reasons why. And I had another one on

the show also, and I was a guest on another show

that did something very similar to what you did.

She did it in a completely different way. So

I'm going to be targeting and asking people in

all different industries and in the industry

that you do. And I'm going to try to get as many

different aspects and. ways of thinking to open

up possibly another opportunity for you and maybe

something that you want to try to explore. So

the next question is why is emotional and energetic

bypassing so common among high achievers and

how can it be avoided without adding shame or

more work? So I find that usually high achievers

and people in leadership tend to be so work oriented

and so into having framework and strategy that

they often forget that they themselves have an

emotional side. They keep pushing it down. And

what often happens is that they don't realize

that once they allow that part of themselves

to come through, that it really works so much

better harmoniously in so many different ways,

not just in end result. of the profits, but also

in the culture within the company. And there's

nothing about shame. It's just about integrating

the whole person because you could be a very

successful leader, but you could end up getting

into burnout if you're not allowing that other

side of yourself to come through and feel into

things. So it's not about bringing the shame

if they haven't done so far at any given point

in time, we each have the ability to just take

a step back and maybe take a different step.

Who says that the dance has to be exactly as

it was laid out. What about freestyling it? You

know what I mean? So that's what I like to show

people. It's about being able to introduce it

in very small steps. It's not, oh my gosh, we're

completely changing and revolutionizing the way

that you do business. It's just about introducing

little things to help strengthen and fortify.

So that's something I teach and explain. And

if I do things very slowly, some things it's

okay to do fast, but this type of work and this

type of change, adjusting your brain, your personality,

your thinking, the type of thinking that you

have now, as opposed to maybe discovering something

different. Maybe you think that something should

be different. You don't know exactly what it

is and you don't know how to do it. Okay. And

you need help. You need a coach or a mentor or

a teacher. And this will help you to grow in

your life, not only in your business, because

we're talking. about business and C -suite and

behavior change. A lot of people that I've worked

with, it'll just automatically carry over to

your home, your neighbor that you talk with while

you're cutting the grass. When you go to the

store, when you're driving in the car, the person

next to you becomes very angry. There are a lot

of situations, your family, your children. So

when these things happen, I will be changing

my entire. But we're focusing on the workplace

as soon as I even just make that decision. But

then I want to take it one step further, get

a coach. And that's what you were explaining

about the baby steps. And this is how I coach.

And I totally agree with these types of things.

Okay. The high achievers, the business owners

and executives, they are the ones to me that

are really important because they are the role

models. They are the mentors and they are the

people that really help the business to change.

And the employees are just going to basically

follow that. They're going to think they have

to, right? Because it's part of their job duties.

It's part of different things like that. Okay.

So the next question is how do energy healing

and intuitive practices like Reiki or astrology

create real tangible results in someone's daily

life or decision making? Just from an astrological

point of view, when I'm working with someone,

I ask them if they can provide me with their

birth information so that I can go ahead and

pull up and... needle chart with their permission,

ethically always asking for permission to have

all of that information to go over it with them.

And I look at key points in the needle chart

that will suggest what may come easier for them.

That is their powerhouse. It leads into business

as well. If somebody is a strong communicator,

if somebody has better leadership, quality skills,

what kind of leader, I will be looking for that,

but I will also be looking for the challenging

parts. And that's where we get to do the real

work because the challenging parts that may be

showing up. in their natal chart will also give

me some insight as well as my scanning their

energy fields as to the areas that really need

the extra focus and the extra changes, the shifting

that needs to take place. What are some of the

things that maybe they need to let go of? And

that brings me into the sync method, which is

what I created certain energy centers, whether

it's from a chakra system. If you've heard of

the chakras, we have seven main chakras. There

are many more other than that, but each one signifies

a certain area of our lives. So one may be about

security and safety. Another one may be about

our creativity. Another one is more about our

empowerment and confidence. Another one is the

way that we love and wish to be loved, but that

is such an important one, even in business, because

it relates to how we connect with others. Then

another one is about speaking our truth or just

speaking clearly communication. And another one

is about awareness and intuition, thinking, logics.

So these are really important energy centers.

If any one of those are out of alignment. It's

going to throw how you run a business, right?

Then I take the cosmic part of it and look at

the challenges to be able to actually work through

the challenges in a way that smooths out everything

else. That's where the secret sauce or the sweet

part of it all is. It changes how the leader

is viewing how they go about their day and they're

able to enjoy life much more because now they're

not so stressed about the work part. They can

actually enjoy life, which isn't that what we

all work so hard for? You're such high achievers

because we want to be able to have that time

to really enjoy life. And then it just carries

also to the rest of the team. And there's just

a different dynamic. And it's amazing to hear

what people have to say before we get started

to after we've done some of the work together.

And it comes from leadership as well as the rest

of the team. I hope that answered the question.

So how can leaders use astrology as a practical

tool and not just for personality insight, but

strategic timing, team dynamics and. energetic

collaboration. With astrology we have what is

our natal chart, which is our blueprint. No matter

what that doesn't change. However, what does

change is what's going on in the sky at any given

moment in time. There may be certain planets

that are retrograde and there are planets that

are changing signs in between and how they each

relate to each other. The timing of certain things

based on how your own natal chart goes is going

to tell you whether certain time may be more

challenging time or a more prosperous or powerful

time. But if you're launching something new,

if you're working on a big project, that can

give you some insight as to how it works. But

also, if you know some of that information for

some of your team members as well, with their

permission, obviously, then you can have a better

understanding of how that project can really

work and the launching of it, the timing of it,

where there may be some challenges that you may

need to work through. You can have a better understanding

of what may come up. To give an example, right

now we're actually in the midst of Mercury Retrograde.

What does that mean? Basically, It's a slowing

down of the planet's movements, but it may appear

like it's going backwards. A lot of people, as

soon as they hear Mercury retrograde, oh no,

everything is going to go wrong. Travel plan,

there could be delays, electronics could go faulty,

communication, emails that I think I'm sending

don't actually get received. Yeah. Some of those

things could be happening, but Mercury retrograde

is actually a really powerful time. And I wish

that most leaders and most business owners, entrepreneurs

would really understand that may actually be

a very powerful. time for growth in their company.

It's a great time for analyzing what's happening.

And that's where we always say to go inward.

And that's a really great time to look at everything

that you've been working on, how it's going so

far and analyze it. That's a great time for them

to shine and actually that can help your business.

So something that may be viewed as being challenging,

certain aspects it can be challenging, but in

other aspects, it can actually be a great stepping

stone or moving forward for your business. It

just means that you have to shift. how you're

looking at it. Wear a different hat for that

three -week period and then the results that

come afterwards are great. That's the time to

analyze where other times may be more times to

be connecting and networking. Planetary alignments

can really make a big shift in your business

by knowing what is happening and how to use it.

How to harness that energy and empower yourself

and your company through that. It also depends

on what kind of business it is that you're running.

Different models and different products that

may be available or different services. to have

different impacts based on what's going on cosmically.

Believe it or not, a lot of coaches do what I

call backend work, which is what I do also. And

I don't tell the client what exactly that is

and exactly how I'm doing it because they're

probably not really going to understand it. But

when they see the results, they might say, this

is very good. And to tell you the truth, it comes

a lot faster and I do this type of work. That's

just my own experience with. How do you do this?

What is your process? And it really produces

really good results. I want to know. The biggest

companies in the world use this process. They

use astrology, Reiki, changing behavior, energetic

bypassing. Okay. Healing and intuitive practices.

Every coach uses formats, but they don't tell

their clients. They don't tell the executive.

the business owner, their employees don't know,

but they know one thing that what the coach is

doing, how effective that coach is better than

maybe the previous coaches they have. And again,

the coach doesn't explain everything and talk

about all these different things. They don't

have to. They're paying them for their company

so they can increase sales and profits. That's

what they're paying these coaches. They charge

a hundred thousand dollars just for one lecture.

And that's. Basically the bottom line they really

want the results these coaches they have a lot

of experience They can prove their experience

they can really show it But there's a lot of

reasons why they choose one coach over another

and why that is we don't know these are some

different things that we're explaining some practices

and Ways that a lot of the coaches do things

and this is just to educate the listener. Maybe

they know somebody who is an executive or a business

owner who's struggling. Maybe they want to change

their personality. Maybe they're unhappy. Maybe

their business is going bankrupt. There are so

many different examples of this. And I would

like to know, is the listener really interested

just to think about what we are talking about?

Because a lot of times it's like acting on blind

faith because I don't know what it is and I don't

really understand it, but my business is not

doing that great. If it goes bankrupt, I'm not

going to be able to put food on the table. So

maybe really have anything to really lose besides

maybe a few dollars. It might be something it

might not be, but this coach is successful. And

I know that for sure. The beauty of having worked

with the people that I've worked with in helping

them in their business has actually helped them

to not be working 18 hour days and be able to

maybe bring those days to be more like 10 hours,

which is a huge. change for them, for them to

actually be able to have more time with the family

that is complaining that they're never home.

Or even when they are home, they're constantly

so worried or taking calls or checking emails

or messages and not really present. That is a

big part of what was happening. And I've been

able to shift that for them just by bringing

alignment and giving them the empowerment piece

of harnessing other energy that they weren't

aware of has completely shifted. Not only the

way that they are able to operate their business

and have profits, but also have better retention

of their team and have better relationship in

their personal life. Whether it's a relationship

with their spouse, their friends, their family,

their children. And that's what it's all about.

It's so powerful yet it is minimal as to what

it is that they have to do. We always run on

what are the KPIs? What are the total amounts

in this? What is the percentage of this? Instead

of running on that being barometer of things,

we just do a little shift, just shifting a little

bit of that perspective. First of all, the Sync

Method really is based on that. It's just changing

some of the prior programming that we have because

sometimes it's not working harder. It's about

working smarter. And the working smarter in this

case is about harnessing what's already there.

It's just that most of us don't realize that

energy is there. So what does your Sync Method

look like in action and how does it help people

reconnect to their authentic leadership? Sync

is not like your bathroom sink. Sync is more

like synchronization. The S is for shifting.

And in the shifting, we are releasing prior beliefs.

We are releasing some prior programming that

we've all had, whether it was from our parents

and their way of thinking, grandparents, church

leaders, teachers at school, professors, what

have you. We all have prior programming and a

lot of us need to release certain things. Then

we go into the why. The why is yielding. Once

we've released that, we're yielding. yielding

to what the new energy feels like. We have a

clean slate. Now we can fill that slate with

healthier options. And then we go into the nurturing.

That's the N part. We're nurturing what we've

now built. And then the C part is where we can

co -create a new future. Like literally we can

go ahead and we often speak in my field, manifestation,

but for manifestation to actually occur, that

any intention, but you also need to be energetically

aligned because you can say, I have a million

dollars and until the cows come home, but if

the rest of you is not aligned with it, that

million dollars ain't going to show up. That's

the way to put it. So the sync method works very

nicely when I'm able to work with the person

in allowing them to change some of those thought

patterns that are holding them back. And they

don't even realize sometimes that's what it is

that's been holding them back to then allow them

to go into that mode where they can create something

more beautiful than what they already had. And

that's where they gain new kind of momentum and

where they have faster growth in different ways

than they were ever foreseeing because it's about

both the strategy and the harnessing of that

energy. And when that goes together, it's beautiful.

So that was very good. Thank you. And that makes

a lot of sense. And it was very similar to what

we've been talking about the type of person I

am too. I need to see the results. That's the

best way. I think a lot of us want instant gratification.

So if something happens, I want to see exactly

what's going to happen as fast as I possibly.

And if you're going to tell me that this is going

to be a slow process and this is the way astrology

works and the spirituality works, I might go

with somebody else. I don't really want to tell

them that. And I really want to focus on what's

the positive and what are they going to get as

a result? And I don't know if it's going to be

a fast process or not. Honestly, I really don't

know. Really depends on the person. I don't know

the client until I start working with them. They

could tell me a lot of things, right? Some of

them might be true. and some might not be, and

people really don't know themselves in a lot

of ways. But I will tell you this. There are

many similarities to people that are overachievers

and high achievers because they're giving me

permission to scan their energy. Upon meeting,

I gather some of the information and I ask them

to give me some of the information ahead of time

so that I can take a look at their needle chart

so that I have an idea of the blueprint that

we're working with. It's a blueprint. So much

could be there, but it gives me a good idea and

a good foundation. Then when I'm actually speaking

with the person in our first meeting, scanning

their energy and I'm going from there to treat

at the moment to bring balance and alignment

they come back to me and tell me that something

has already shifted and then they want to know

how can we continue the process and that's where

we work together whether eight weeks together

whether it's 12 weeks together whether it's really

condensed and only working one week together

but they're really devoting a lot of time with

me one -on -one there are many ways to work with

me but what I'm taking from there is that I'm

giving them insight in areas that they need to

focus on, the areas that they need to make changes,

as well as working with their energy sent to

bring that balance and harmony and alignment.

They feel it right away. And then they want the

rest of what I offer, which is the protocol that

I put together. And if they want lasting changes,

they will follow the protocol. Some may be like,

no, this is not for me. Okay, then the change

is not going to happen as quickly. If these parts

are not for you, I understand that. And that's

fine. We each have free will and that may not

work for you. This is what I find has been successful.

with each team that I've worked with because

I've had some executives that they choose to

do it for themselves. And then they say, I need

to bring this to my team. My team needs to be

part of this too. And I work with all of them.

I've done that before and it's worked out so

beautifully. And these companies have had such

great success. I was very good. Thank you. And

that is a very efficient and excellent way of

describing what we just talked about. A breakthrough

with a client where energy work created a turning

point in their career. a personal evolution.

I had the opportunity to work with someone who

had a business that appeared to be successful

to the outside, but they were feeling frazzled

from the inside, the inner workings. So they

came to me and said, I'm literally working 16

to 18 hour days, seven days a week. I never get

a break. I am at complete burnout. I'm ready

to just give up. The bills are piling up. There's

a lot going on. I don't know the dynamics of

the employees and my team, if I can fully trust

them or not. There's a lot. at hand that does

not seem to be meshing well. There should be

more money that's coming in and sustainably staying

put. There should be more growth and I'm feeling

like it's not happening and I don't know where

the leak is. And so I went ahead, asked them

their information, went over their nature, understood

some dynamics of their persona, their blueprint

and asked them specific questions and then went

ahead and did some energy work to bring the alignment.

There was a shift that happened once they understood.

that they were wired a certain way, literally

based on their needle chart. But now he focused

on helping the challenges and empowering the

strengths. They changed a little bit how they

were speaking to their employees, which changed

the dynamic with the whole team at large. And

there were less losses, people that perhaps were

not meant to stay as part of the team and that

he needed to have them part ways and to find

others that may be more aligned with how he runs

business based on his He thinks that he needed

to bring more of the completion of the whole

picture so that there could be different personalities

and different ways that could work cohesively

well together. And there was a big shift that

happened just in the matter of literally working

with him in two weeks, how he completely changed

things, but the three months of seeing where

the results, he saw the results right away within

a month. What he was able to retain in profits

and not lose out and be able to grow from there.

He was ready to... then do some improvements

in the business, structural improvements that

he could go ahead and use that money for that

to achieve greater growth and what he was looking

to do. And he was able to do that. And then when

he called me back and he said, thank you for

the first time in many years, I was able to take

a vacation with my family and I was able to spend

time with my family and enjoy my kids without

having to worry about anything else. That right

there to me is the most successful that anything

could ever be. They felt beforehand that they

couldn't leave. They had to be there. to their

job seven days a week, 16 to 18 hours a day without

leaving, without ever allowing somebody else

to step in to manage things. And finally, they

could leave. To me, that's one of the biggest

things that you could possibly do to be able

to finally trust others as you're working your

business, the framework, all of it. A good way

of summarizing the entire podcast that we have

right now. And that answers a lot of my questions

and comments we have been talking about because

We don't know what the end result is going to

be, but I can pretty much guarantee that something

positive is going to happen as long as they follow

the plan, they follow the process and they learn

from us. And that really, to me is the most important

thing. So the last question is, how do you integrate

Reiki astrology and intuition into your approach?

And how does that combination transform the way

you guide and support others? Basically what

happens is it's not like I have a cookie cutter.

Although I have the sync method, each person

is so distinctly different than anyone else.

Each one of us is so unique. It's like our blueprint

does not match anyone else's. Energetically speaking,

when I'm scanning their energy centers, there

are certain similarities to others in similar

situations, but everybody's really different.

So how do I put it all together? I take all of

these different pieces and work on knowing where

the challenges are. Those are the areas that

cleared. Usually where the challenges are showing

up in the blueprint are usually the areas where

there are blockages. the energy centers. I use

Reiki, which is very simple and can be done very

quickly to help get to those areas of challenges

and blockages and stagnations that are showing

up also in the nature. Intuitively, because I

do have mediumship and psychic abilities, the

answers will also come to me whether or not that

is the right road to go on. And that's how I

make it work altogether. I use all of those together.

So there's the scientific, there is the energetic,

and then there's the intuitive and it all meshes

all together, which is also how I did nursing

care. That's how I worked as a nurse for so many

years. And that's why I was having such great

success with my patients. So I just take it from

place to place and offer the best that I can

for someone to have the greatest results and

the best outcome. People that are in this field,

nurses, doctors, chiropractors learned a lot

of this in school. And a lot of times are very

open to it because they understand the spirituality

part, the Reiki, all these different types of

things. And this is part of their training and

it becomes really part of who they are. So they

are very open to it, but anybody can do it. But

I find people in these types of industries, especially

industries where they focus on really helping

people is really beneficial, more beneficial

to them and the coach, because the more the person

knows initially, the more the person understands

what this is about, the easier it is. for me

to teach them not that it's not easier than an

executive or business owner, somebody who doesn't

understand, but it's good for these people in

these types of industries to really use these

practices and they really go forward and already

knowing it and understanding it and learning

it is really a big plus. So that was the last

question. Thank you for being on the show. There

are such simple ways to move from where you are

to your next phase. It's so simple. You wouldn't

think that it's that simple, but you need to

be working with somebody that knows how to guide

you through that. Because there are major changes

that happen, but it's really quite simple. And

sometimes we overcomplicate things and we're

looking to strategize when it's not about so

much the strategy, it's more about just making

those simple changes that really. completely

change your life, but it has to be with the guidance

of the right person to get you there. Yes. How
